Sup Y'all ! Finally own the EVO X!

It's been very long time to own one. Took many years to save money.
F.E. 2015 EVO X . I really don't know how the Racardo seats feel like. I want them with white harness. These pics I took monday night at the dealership. More pics will come...
I got 600 miles til break in. The car had 27 miles, when i got it. I still can't believe that I got this car. Feelin Blessed from God.

With Jebus for a mechanic he needs not your paltry mortal hands.

So sayeth unto the lord, oh lord up on high, giveth me thy loyal subject yon turbo of winning so I may slayeth the Mustang and other upstarts to your name.

Amen

Fo show. I 'll keep in touch. Smash all these Subies out here! They so ugly.

I would like to know few things about this car. This only applies to stock EVO X GSR.
The Manuel book saids break in is about 600 miles.
1. So can you drive over 600 to break in, for example drive like 2000,5000 , 10000?
Would your engine last longer?
2. When do people shift 3k rpm? 4krpm?
3. If you have '15 model you look at your digital gas gauge. Lol I am slow learner. This is so sad. How do you read the gauge. I see a thin one line , I'm guessing that's the level is at? Then it tells you how many miles before you hit gas station. The miles change while I'm driving. Is that normal? First it was 130 miles, then 120 while I'm driving.
Sorry for not starting separate thread. I really need to know.

1. Everyone has a different opinion on engine break in. Go with what the manual says, babying it any longer than recommended won't make anything last longer.
2. I shift differently depending how I'm driving. If I'm just putting around town I shift a lot earlier than if I'm out on a spirited drive.
3. I have a 13 which might have a slightly different gas gauge. Yes, your miles to empty gauge will go down while driving

You guys in America really got screwed with the 2015's. No BBS', no Recaros.

Congrats on the new car though. They are a lot of fun and do everything really well if you take care of them.

Congrats I remember when I got my car from the dealership, it felt like heaven haha. Some answers to your questions:

1. No, break-in is really for something to do with oil and seal setting (something like that, haha). After 500 miles your already broken in.
2. During break-in I believe it says to not rev past 4k. I stayed around 3-3.5k. When your done with the break-in, you can shift wherever you like. I say the sweet spot is around 4-5k. It seems notchy below that. I used to drive it to higher rpms but not throttle it all the way down to get the car used to it.
3. The fuel gauge is relatively inconsistent I've notice especially when its full. It will jump around with a full tank. With a lower tank it gets more accurate.

-Also I would recommend doing an oil change to full synthetic around 1-2k miles. Also recommend getting a good drop in air filter like cosworth or k&N.

I kind of always wanted a blue one.. Everyone loves the white but deep down I wish I had a blue one. I was peer pressured into white.
