HOW TO VIDEO: Evo X Boost Gauge, Intake and Strut Bar Install (4k Video)

Hey all! Joined up a couple weeks ago when I got my 2014 GSR. If I didn't catch you on the General Forums, I've been collecting parts since I got the car with the intention of documenting the build. While the weather around Chicago hasn't exactly been great lately, last Friday was nice enough to bring the car out.

The guys at iLL Garage in Addition, IL were nice enough to let my buddy and I film in their shop. Not having a ton of experience doing video work, it was slower going than what we expected, but I think it turned out ok. We tried to be very detailed in the installation.

So like I said, I'm not an experienced videographer, so any feedback, constructive or otherwise, is definitely welcome. In future installations we'll be doing Bilstein Coilovers, Eibach Sway Bars, Cobb Turboback Exhaust and solenoid and AEM hard pipes and intercooler, as well as having the suspension tuned by the guys at Togue Factory and then having the car dyno tuned, likely at AMS.

Thanks!

According to Alldata, the nuts on the towers are torqued to 33 ft/lbs while the bolts are torqued to 19 ft/lbs.

Thanks so much!

Is it really necessary to wrap the vacuum lines in conduit?

Not at all, purely an aesthetic choice. That vacuum line will cope with 300psi and 300 degrees F. We just did it to clean everything up under the hood. Mitsubishi used pretty much the same split loom on their wiring, so it keeps a factory look.

Thank you, much appreciated. We shot the coilover install last Friday but unfortunately I got sick and haven't been able to work on editing it yet. The car does sit very nicely though and the driving dynamics are greatly improved. Should be even better once we bring it to Togue Factory next month for corner balancing and suspension setup/alignment.

We'll have that install out soon and will probably be doing the hard pipes and intercooler next. The wideband will get done after we do the turboback as it's easier than welding in another bung (my welding skills are not worth documenting).
