Ecumaster EMU?

Have anyone heard or know about this ems? I can't find anything other than some Supra forums that liked it but I was wondering if anyone with an evo knows about this ems. It has some cool features and flexfuel. And the price is great.

The hardware specs and price is very competitive . I wonder how the software is? I'd give it a shot in a heartbeat. go with the black though .

Are you aware that the stock ecu is capable of being tuned up to 1000 hp?
Its also capable of becoming a flex fuel ecu?

Yes im fully aware of this but at this point I'm looking not how far we can take the stock ecu, but more of how much safety I can put on my engine. The stock works great but I don't get the safety that I can get with a haltech or aem or another programmable ecu. As far of flexfuel I don't care since they don't bring e85 to Puerto Rico on gas stations like US.

Im no tuner but i thought you didnt know. I guess ill let the real gurus and tuners chime in.

But im sure you can make a complete safe tune via oem computer.

Stock ecu is the way to go for knock control

the sophistication of that algorithm employed by oem is difficult or hard to best

an intelligent tuner and someone familiar with that particular ecu can get close or equal reliability bit length to tune the system like that will likely drive up calibration costs significantly

the logging capability of the ecu is inferior to most aftermarket ecus
more outputs and inputs on the aftermarket ecu
on the fly writing to ecu is superior on aftermarket ecu
better engine protection on most aftermarket ecu
options for VE based fuel algorithm makes changing injectors and airfliow characteristics easier

mind you im tuning stock ecu and it is doing what i wantand loving it. but i cant discount the advantages of a nice aftermarket solution for those who may desire one.
