Problem turning temperature knob
Does anybody have any problem with turning temperature knob?
Mine is so sluggish that from end to end, it won't turn in one time. I have to kind of move it back and forth to move from cold to hot..
I tried to grease the turning points inside the console but does not work..
If anyone had same problem and solved it, let me know..

It was a technical service bulletin. If your car is still under warranty it will be replaced. If the warranty is up, its on you to pay for the update or do it yourself.
Its rather easy to do. A phillips head screw holds each of the levels onto the heater box right above and to the center of your accel. pedal.

Adjust seat to the farthest position. Lift leg up and kick it right in the knob! j/k. I heard even with the new TSB parts, the control is still hard to turn. I just turn the mechanical gear by hand.

Hmm... so should i go replace the parts?
my warranty is obviously over so i should pay
Yeah, there's two pieces that hold the gear turning thing.
I took off the first piece and greased it. but the problem was the inner part.
I intentionally turned it with my hand but it still won't turn in one turn.
I think the entire teeth gear thingy have to be changed..
too little space to work.. so i left it and will try another day.
What's it called? I should be able to call that to dealer and buy the damn replacement. haha
It's nice to see people have the same problems.. haha jk jk must fix!!
gets on my nerves everytime I try to change the temperature... augh...
anyways, what's it called??

Okay, i went to dealer and got the part.
costed me $17.50 + tax.
little higher than other people =(
anyways, it worked out good, it's much better than before.
If anybody still have same problem, just replace it with new kit and grease the cable. mine worked good.
