Can 17x9 Wheel with a 5-114.3 Pattern and a 30 Offset with Falken Ziex 912 size 215/40-17 tire fit well on an 09 Lancer DE?? I got a really good deal on these and they look pretty nice from the pictures ive seen. I'm dropping it on Eibach Sport-Lines soon, with a 1.7" drop on the front and 1.2" in the back. Thanks

XXR 521 at Stock Height
Previously posted in wrong thread...
New at the wheel game. Looking at XXR 521's (18x8.5 +25 Offset) with BF G-Force 235/40/18 tires for my GT.
I know in previous posts there have been comments on rolling fenders with this offset, but is this only required with lowered cars or is it still true at stock height?
Thanks,

Helping out my cousin. He just picked up a 2015 se which I'm told and have read is the new Es. I've read 15/16 out of 22 pages and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Maybe it would help everyone if someone who has a good bit of knowledge could post a max tire size (aprx all tires are different). And a max rim size and offset. That way hopefully all the wil this and that fit should go away, if they just read the sticky.
Now lol my question is since the above doesn't exist. 18x8 rim all the way around wat is the lowest offset I can run. (Lowest number, closest to zero, biggest dish) without rolling/pulling fenders

Idk if anyone has mentioned, but i slapped some GTS rims (with oem tires) on my ES lancer awhile back, then bought tein 2.1"/1.9" springs with camber bolts to reduce front camber. Tire completely ate through the front wheel well (guessing from turning)
If you plan on lowering your whip, plan on taking that wheel well out! roll them suckas too while you're at it!
(don't mind the lip dmg!)
those are xxr 530 18x8.75 +38 on 215/18/45.

Hi all,
I want to pick up some XXR 527's that are 18x8.75 with either a 20mm or 35mm offset. I'm currently lowered on the Eibach prokit, so a minimal drop, but how are these looking fitment wise?

Greetings,
I need some advice from the wheel gurus. I just purchased a 2015 Lancer SE and want to put some XXR 530 18x8.75 +33 offset on it.
I perused many forums and don't have much information, but I also want to install air suspension. (I live in mountainous West Virginia, so static isn't an option). I've installed bags on my 3g Eclipse before, so I know wheel/tire fitment is crucial.
Does anyone have a suggestion on tire fitment? 225/40? 235/40?
Of course, normal drive height will be slightly lower than stock, but I also want to slam it at events.
Any help is appreciated!

Just thought I would share my wheel & tire set up for everyone:
Enkei EKM3's in Bright Satin 18X7 1/2 with a 45 offset. 22.6 lbs. each
Tires: Cooper Zeon RS3-A's 225/45/18 25lbs. each 500 A A 40K rating.
Zero issues with rubbing or anything. I went with these tires because of the reviews I read & because Consumer Reports rated them #1 in it's class. I have already tried out on my last Lancer GTS, the Pirelli P-Zero Nero A/S, Yokohama YK520's & the Continental DWS.
This time I wanted to try something different. They have a good balance between ride & handling. No sidewall flex like the DWS's which I didn't like. Even though Cooper is kind of a name you would steer clear from, I am so far impressed with them. I wish they were lighter like the DWS's (22lbs), but I guess you get the lighter weight due to the single ply sidewall. They are quiet as well which is a big plus over everyone's favorite Dunlops LOL. I haven't noticed any change in mileage since installing them, but I haven't put on a whole lot of miles yet, so time will tell. If for any reason these tires don't live up to my expectations, I get a 45 day "trial" period through Cooper. Heck if push comes to shove, I'll get the DWS's again & put up with the sidewall flex & save 12lbs lol.
All in all a nice set-up without breaking the bank.

Curious as to why you would go with 18x7 over 18x8 or 18x9? It looks really odd.

Hey, so I've been looking around but I haven't found much on an answer for my question. I'm getting an 08 Lancer ES, and I'm looking for new tires and rims to replace the winters that it comes with. I found some nice 18's, but apparently they are 245 40 18 for the front two, and 245 45 18 for the rear. I'm thinking that they won't fit, but out of curiosity, do you think that they would fit without having much trouble?

Tire Max width?
hello everyone, im looking to see how wide of a tire I can mount on to my 2010 lancer gts. noticed most comments say 235mm, but im also wondering how wide of a tire i can go with rolled fenders, and how much i could possibly roll the fenders (if anyone has that information). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
