Scion Tc turbo 300hp?
I got my issue of modify mag and turbonetics made a turbo for the sicon tc that comes with a 140hp gain that makes it 300hp@8psi. I went to their website, it shows their dyno at 244hp and 262tq. also in the mag it shows a turbo kit for a scion tc by sound performance. the kit making 260hp and 280tq @ 7psi. now look at those numbers. we are faster than the tc stock but when they get turboed they are making bigger numbers and they are also faster than us. why is that?

If you want to keep up with those turbo'd TCs, heres your best bet http://www.rippmods.com/templates/te...d=117&menuId=2

TC's has beefier rods and pistons than us.. Their engine was designed to handle their supercharger kit that comes from factory so they went ahead and added befier parts. Stock block engine handles 18psi. There's a guy here in PR that made 375whp at 16psi stock block.

if i remember right, there is a shop in miami with a turbo scion tc that made ~415hp at ~17psi on 103 stock block. they also ran 12.xx on slicks. sorry I couldn't give you guy real figures, i cant seem to find there site.
its a 2.4L with valve technology, thats a hard combo to beat.

I'm not so sure about what you all are saying.. If you think about it. The TRD super charger only adds 40hp with 5-7lb of boost if you look at ripp mods version for are engine with the same boost the 4G69 is putting out 220whp! Something to think about.... I have looked around at differant after market turbo kits for the scion and it seems to be building less hp on all the dynos I have seen.

allso in the latest road and track mag they tested a TRD supercharged scion Vs a terd SI and the si with its wimpy 130trq was still faster. Trust me on this one! You made no mistake by buying a car with the crazy potentail that the ralliart has! allso look at the scions stock 8.4 sec 0-60 time thats week. I ran a best 6.6 0-60 with ralliart using my G-force meter.

Anyone have any clue as to how much boostage our stock internals can take? Just a add on..but... RA's do have crazy potential they are considerably light pretty torquey and can't forget about Mivec! I just wish these stage 1 spoolers im seeing from RRM and others step their game up FOR EXAMPLE....I have a friend that has a Mazda 3 out here whom is thinking of purchasing a Hiboost turbo for his car......roughly 465hp at 18-20psi sorry for the rough figures but that to me sounds pretty efficient
