How do EVO drivers rate F1?

I love F1 racing. The technology on an F1 car is amazing and the talent pool of drivers is beyond most any other form of racing out there. Now, time to get ready to watch the USGP

formula 1 is great! i spectated once in Spain, forgot the name of the course. I dunno if it's just localized around here, but I find one too many michael schumacher and juan montoya fan boys when it comes to talking about formula1. There's so much that goes into formula 1 racing that it's hard not to appreciate, or in the least, respect it. Speed channel in the States does a fairly good job of covering F1 as well... they cover practice, qualifying, and the full race.

::edit:: forgot to mention guns
seriously.. they have nascar/stock car racing on like 5 different channels and now they even have some reality show based around it. i mean, the ****ing cars are tuned so that they are focused on left turns. If they put spikes on the cars and guns and it was full-contact type racing and I was insanely drunk and naked girls danced around the track.. I'd probably watch it.

In order to get F1 coverage you have to have Speed Channel. The US coverage of F1 is very lacking. They do a little more for the USGP though.
I just got back from the GP of Canada and that was a blast! The city of Montreal is awesome and the F1 theme is all over the place. You can't even walk into a boutique without finding a set of bridgstones on display I'd say at least 5 streets were closed off for F1 parties.
From what I understand, F1 is the second most popular sport in the world next to soccer! If they were to attract the attention of the US, that number would explode! Sadly, I don't see that happening unless they start rounding ovals and banging wheels. Bring F1 to Long Beach!

I was at qualifying and practice yesterday. Although I'm REALLY getting sick of seeing the red cars up front and Michael winning all the time, I would rather cut off my arms than watch Nascar or one of it's ridiculous feeder series.

I just heard that US will probably get another GP next year most likely on the East coast. Also looking at getting a better TV deal to reach more people!!

Can someone explain to me how:
A) A driver can make 2 blocking moves on the front straight - which is clearly against the rules - and not get penalized?
B) A driver can pit from 1st under yellow, and come back out in first, while his teammate - who pitted right after - comes out in 5th?
C) Why the FIA waits 59 laps to Black Flag a car that apparently shouldn't have been on the track to start with?
D) Any other team than Ferarri even bother to show up on Sunday?
E) The FIA Medical team takes 5 minutes to get to the wreck of Ralf Schumacher?
F) Why Barrichello continues to be Michael's b!tch? You can't tell me that suddenly with 12 laps to go Ruebens car went away and he could no longer hang with Michael. No one really believes that, do they?
I'm glad I decided not to go to the race this year, and watch it on tv instead.
