Jamie has a brand new Fp Red BB, never installed and is gonna send it to me. The hold up is his job at the (school house) in FT Sill OK keeps him busy. I assume I will have it when he sends it, he's letting it go for 1600 shipped! Can't beat that cause it has the MHI outside.

Need to have my timing checked since I did my cam install. Can anyone point me in the direction of a local shop competent enough to do this? Not tryin to spend a bunch just to check timing. Is that something someone on here could do? I'll buy the beer lol

Well, Well .....hey Black beauty...welcome back. I see u still getting your evolution together, I would say go to Atlanta but for some people that's not an option due to the drive and the labor rate of evolution specific shops charge. I would also say go to Modified Imports and see Thomas, but heard from people in town that he takes advantage of these kids who know nothing about their car.

I would not trust any shop in Clarksville, or a honda buddy that is a Black Belt ASE certified back yard mechanic and a laptop with my car...just saying

Hey black beauty, you have been on here asking for everyone's help for awhile now. I know that it's you're choice...but when I took my car to Atlanta to get tuned they had set my 2step too low @ 5500 rpm. I know Drill Sergeant personally he's probably the only person with a laptop that I will trust with my evo. He raised my the 2step to 6k for me witch got me perfect launches, that had me cutting 1.6-1.7 60ft, not saying that you too will be cutting those 60ft times, just saying I trust Drill Sergeant. Again your choice.

I have evoscan and could change my 2step RPM no problem, my problem is not in the software. I installed my cams and my car runs great, I was told by my tuner that my EF3 was spooling slow. So I thought my timing could have been off before. If I had an in depth write up I would try to check it myself. But id gladly pay Drill Sergeant for his time or buy the beer if he could check my timing. As soon as it warms up ill be there.

I don't know about local but Justin @ Detective Coatings does great work and worth the wait. Has fast turn around time too.

Hey guys, figured I would introduce myself here. My name is Josh and I just purchased my first Evo this weekend. This isn't my first DSM, but will be the first one that I mod. I'm not new to modding cars though. I traded in my fully bolted/E85 tuned Mazdaspeed 6 for the car of my dreams. I look forward to meeting you guys and learning everything I can for the car from some of you. My brain hurts form reading everything already, I know better then to not look something up before I ask.
