an 06RS just got Tuned
I just got my car tuned by Sean Ivey in Jersey. I was quite happy with the results.
Max Power=336.89
Max Torque=337.51
Mod List:
-Buschur TBE (testpipe/magnaflow)
-Hallman Pro RX MBC (Set by Ivey at 24psi)
-TurboXS Intake (simply a K&N Cone filter attached directly to MAF, there is no extra plumbing)
I thought 24psi was a little too much to safely run, but Sean was adamant that 24 pounds is not an unsafe level. He said that his shop normally recommends 23, and that even 25 psi is safe with my setup.
The lines run nice and smooth, and the car feels amazing.
Big thanks to Sean Ivey,
Hopefully this setup keeps me satisfied for a long time before I seriously start thinking about whats next.

I'd also add that Sean got a Degree in Electrical Engineering for Drexel University in the great city of Philadelphia
In all seriousness Drexel is an excellent engineering school, and I really got the impression that Ivey is one hell of a tuner. The car that preceded mine on the dyno did 562whp (IX with GT35R/Meth)
Does anyone have anything to say about the car being tuned at 24psi???

24psi seems to be a bit on the high side for pump gas, but if Sean managed to pull of a safe tune, keep driving and enjoying it. Also keep an eye on the boost gauge and try to always use good quality gas to avoid issues that can hurt your motor.

It doesn't taper like it once did. I seldomly took the engine past 5k rpm, because of the tapering at high revs. Now the car begs to be redlined.
I can't really measure the boost taper though. I'm still using the mitsu boost guage, and I have it dialed down to 21psi (1.45 bar).
I won't be able to get a higher psi figure on the taper until I get a Defi.

Both, good quality 93 octane "usually" comes big brand name gas stations. I am pretty sure that EVO owners in your area or you know which gas station or stations for that matter have the best quality gas.
