One question guys

Do you guys recommend this cooler also for DD car or just track cars?
Meaning would it also be good idea for a daily driven car?

Thanks

Yes it would be an improvement over the stock piece, even if only for a DD. This also gives you the option to run a cooler if you ever decide to go that route.

Awesome thread!!! I was just talking to Jon at TRE about a rebuild on my trans. I think I'll have him throw that trans cooler in and ship me the transfer case one too. Great info. Respect.

From what I've seen no they don't only come in one color. But it shouldn't even matter when it's never seen by anyone unless you get under the car. And road debris will chip away at the paint anyways.

Can anyone suggest an oil pump and setup to be used for this billet TRE transmission oil cooler plate? I haven't gotten anything back yet from the awesome but very busy Jon at TRE.

I've heard good things about Tilton pumps, but don't have personal experience.

Ya Tilton is the only brand I have found so far that's not some sort of risky sounding pump that's not on eBay or made in China with crap parts.

Anyone else know of any other brand aside from Tilton that has reliable oil pumps with many options like staying on all the time or part of the time the engine is running and can be controlled by a switch?

The 6-speed doesn't have an access panel, so he can never make one like for the five speed.
