WORKS 2009 Lancer Ralliart Build
Here are some pictures of the tear down. We will be installing a roll cage and removing metal to make the Ralliart lighter. The Ralliart started with an initial curb weight of 3462lbs.
We weighed the car at this point to see how much savings there would be with just the rear interior removed. And we were at just over 3300 lbs.
There is a lot more to come out and we will be posting the final tear down and the build up very soon.

Here is the final tear down and the build up. For the build we started with an EVO X turbo, manifold, downpipe, inter cooler, interc cooler piping, and WORKS air filter... we will be test fitting and adding more parts as we build it up by the end of next week. (We are working on a brake system and suspension right now.)
This is our dual transmission cooler that we will be developing as well.
The cage will be done Sunday and the build up will continue on Monday.

Yah, that is Joey our Marketing Rep (flip-flops are very common here in California). He came in on his day off to help get the car stripped.

Tommy - the graphics are to represent for Mitsubishi since they gave us the car. The vinyl that LAB17 is doing for us is the livery of the Mitsubishi Factory Team in the British Touring Car Championship.
The Hot Bits suspension is $2900. And will not fit the Evo X.
We do have a tarmac suspension setup for the MR though. We have the AST 5000 Series ($2999 with springs and with out camber plates, camber plates are $380) and Ohlins DFVs ($3599 with spring and camber plates).
