Im interested in a permanent roof rack for my 02 oz....anyone try this? I'm willing to just go with a Yakima naked roof rack system with the towers and hooks, but I was thinking of something more integrated, simple and sleek. I am partial to the Yakima Whisbar but I have no idea if there is a way to make it work on our cars, and I do think it would be nice in black only.

Any thoughts?

Anyone know if it is ok to drill into the roof or if putting tracks down is necessary or if it is possible to put it someone else like on the sides?

So I think I might go with a yakima whispbar system...s4 bars and k332 mounts that attach to our factory mounting points under the weatherstripping. Anyone use this?
