My 02 ES

OK, So I've been here on the forum for awhile now and i thought it was about time to introduce myself and show off my ride. I bought my 2002 Lancer ES in Feb. of '03 and have been using it as a DD since then. I had never really considered doing any mods to it until it was wrecked in '09. After getting it back from the body shop a laundry list of repairs began to pile up, so I started replacing little things here and there with better parts. I didn't get serious about upgrades until about 6 mo. ago though. Here is what I've got so far...

Suspension, Wheels, & Brakes:
Megan Racing Coilovers
Stock calipers powdercoated red
Stoptech Ceramic Pads
Ebay Drilled & Slotted rotors
BWR Lugs

Engine:
Deyeme Racing motor mounts

Exterior:
35% Tint all around
Ebay Vortex Generator
Stubby Antenna

Interior:
JVC head unit
Pioneer 4-way 6.5" speakers

It looks kinda funky now with stock wheels and hubcaps, but that will taken care of shortly.

Thanks for lookin'.

Here's some pics of my most recent upgrades.

Depo headlights and tail lights
RRM Piggyback
Spectre con filter
Kazera KZ-I 17x7.5 wheels
Nitto Neogen tires

I have to take a break from modding for now cause I have a baby on the way. Hopefully, there'll be more to come though.

Ahh you got the F*($ing tails I want! Looks great man like the rims a lot too, might I ask how much they were?

A cheap little mod that would help with the "silvery clear" look your car has going for it, change those orange bumper side markers for a set of these

http://www.ebay.com/itm/DEPO-2002-20...ba4e27&vxp=mtr

Might want to look into some rear tint(the good 3M stuff that is basically sunglasses for your car, UV protection, etc.), especially if you gonna have a baby in the back seat ;-)

Keep it up!

Thanks, The rims were a steal @Tire Rack for $90 each (closeout price)

I have been considering getting the tint redone since the stuff I have had been on there since 04.

The lugs are pretty nice. They are ultra light and look really cool imo. Can't testify to the price tho cause I got mine from greenbandit. I will say that are difficult to keep clean.

I have seen them on ebay for under $100. They are the red lugs in your recent pics right, open ended? I want to get a black set like those

This sounds dumb but what do you use to remove these lug nuts since they are "extended", I guess a deep socket would work? do you know what size yours are because it doesn't specify in the add what socket type is needed.

This is what I am looking at:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLACKWORKS-B...2f19ca&vxp=mtr
only $60!

A deep well 19mm socket will work but depending on what kind of rims you have you may have to get a thin wall socket to protect your wheels. I've seen thin wall sockets on Amazon and ebay for around $20.
