I explained it earlier in the thread, first post on page 5, here you go
And youre gonna laugh but toothpaste. it actually works great. Alright so i got a bowl of water, and paper towels and of course toothpaste. First i masked off my headlight so i didnt hit any of my paint with the toothpaste cause it has a grit in it. Then, took the toothpaste, put some on my finger, little bit more than you would put on your toothbrush and put that on one end and then the other and just rubbed in circles with the papertowel all over my headlight. If you need more toothpaste, you can add more! I had to! And just keep rubbing in circles. If it starts to dry out add alittle bit of water. Then i took a new papertowel and dipped it in the water and did the same thing rubbing the headlight in circles until all the toothpaste was off. i did it three times on my passenger side and two times on my driver side. Took the tape off. Then wiped all the water off, wiped my bumper off and all around the headlights and made sure everything was dry and clean. It smells minty fresh but dont worry the smell goes away
and then after i made sure everything was dry and all the tape was off, i took some hand wax and went in circles on the headlight again and then wiped all the wax off. Only do that once. After that, they should look crystal clear

cool!!!!!!! I have used toothpaste before watch crystals...hadn't thought of that for car lights. great idea!!!!!!! thanx!!!!!!!!!!!!
Might as well have the timing belt, water pump, etc. replaced as well. Maybe even a crank position sensor if you got lots of miles, saves the hassle of having to do it later down the road.
Yeah i was gonna wet sand it at first but then i saw the toothpaste idea and figured id give it a try since it was free, simple, and quick!
