Add-on Alarm System??

One major negative surprise when I first bought my RA was that it didn't have a factory alarm. I don't have the budget nor plan to install a $200-300 high-end alarm on the car, but have seen this "add-on alarm" on JC Whitney's website. It supposedly is used for cars that already have a factory keyless entry remote and allows you to use that same remote to set the alarm every time you lock. Anyone have experience with these? It costs under $50 and I guess you install yourself, but I have very little electrical experience. Anyone done this??

Link to the product is below:

My 2 cents....save your maoney for a couple more weeks and buy a good alarm and get someone to install it. I installed an alarm on my old car and it was pretty easy but I have some electrical experience. Ifyou dont know what you are doing you can really mess things up. My friend fried his main ecu trying to do this by himself.

Just wait and save up, like everyone says, you get what you pay for
