Anyone painted their mitsubishi badges red?

I just saw a white eclipse the other day with a red badge. For some reason, it looked really cool!!

 

I saw a yellow Evo with red badge I thought it looked terrible.... but thats just my opinion

 

Isn't red what they used to be before they made the mirror badges? Why paint something to look old? What ever happened to "out with the old and in with the new."

Hey! sometimes old is better. That's true of age up to a certain point... I wish I was older... I want my license now... Oh! err... I want to paint mine red too it looks good I think specially on a white Lancer

 

I know some people have used vinyl which can sometimes end up looking cleaner than painting... I myself took the damn badges off!

 

I like the mirror one okay....goes with my 18" Chrome Helo Diamonds!

 

Yeah, I don't think yellow and red mix well... ever seen those old red Vipers with those HORRIBLE yellow wheels?

 

i put red badge on the back of my 02 lancer, looks good imo. i also complimented it upfront with the badge. its also how the car comes in any other country but us. went to barbados and all the lancers were red badged.

Red looks good on the white cars. Thats about it

 

yes it does on white. I just put on the red badge vinyl on my stock wheels. I think that looks tight. I would not mind the other badges red on my white car either.

 

white and red seem to go well. maybe even black and red.
yellow and red... uhh... gotta think about that one.

 

Try a carbon Fiber badge on tarmac black.

 

Black would look good on yellow and either chrome or carbon fiber on thunder grey and black
