Well as some of you may know i got into a little car accident with my RA about a month ago. I managed to slide off the road into a telephone pole while turning on wet leaves, which really sucked. The damage in total was around 8300$. They replaced the bumper, hood and all the internals from the radiator to to the nose of the car. The body shop i went to didn't reinstall the aftermarket mesh grille (lower part) so i have to do that myself, again. I'm in school right now but i'll post some pictures up. One thing i did notice was when i feel the parts of the car they painted vs. the mitsubishi paint job there's a physical difference. The Mitsubishi paint job is all rough, even after i waxed it... My hood, fenders, and bumper are nice and smooth but every other part of my car isn't... Luckily you can't tell by looking. Pics up later tonight, cya

Well see here's the problem... i waxed the car today.. and i was finished waxing around 6:00 and in boston it's already dark at 6:00 PM... SO i took a couple of night shots at 9:00 PM just for kicks because i didn't want to do my english paper. None of the pictures of the front of the car came out, but a few of the side shots worked out nicely. There's this hazey dew/frost on the car right now that makes the car look really weird and sick at the same time, enjoy

And here is my other car, a 1993 Ford Taurus SHO (Automatic though)

And if you guys were wondering here's the pictures of the damage

Some steps to follow when using a claybar:
1. wash your car to remove dust, dirt, blood, etc.
2. with it still wet (or with a spray bottle full of water in hand--this "lubes" the paint and makes the claybar slide over the paint easily), rub the clay over the paint (you should wear rubber gloves when doing this) with moderate pressure. Try in a small spot that feels rough, and have a feel after you rub on it for a few seconds (that sounds so dirty!
)....should be smooth. 3. rinse and dry with a chamois (shammy) after you are done with the clay.
4. protect your paint with your choice of waxing material (Meguiar's and Mothers both make quality products)
