antenna mods

i see a lot of people are going with the shorty antenna these days and i was just wondering what do you guys think of a audi/bmw style fin antenna on a ralliart? can someone photoshop a pic of it?

those fin antennas are gps type antennas.. i don't know if you really want it on your car

do what i did lol i just choped the extra portion off with wire cutters and tapped the tip with a black sharpie looks the same to me why would i go pay extra when i dont even use mine anyways

You probably already know this but they sell them on eBay all the time. So it won't be the actual gps type and they are pretty cheap....................... and ugly (but that my opinion, if you like then go ahead)

I would recommend grinding, cleaning, then painting the tip of that antenna. Sharpie ink won't stop rust.

i looked at a 2000 bmw 328i antenna, but the antenna is female, it wont attach to lancer/evo. I finally settled on a s2k antenna, which i needed to lightly modified. you have to trim the screw of the antenna about 1/4 inch to make it fit flush though. I like the look, it looks like a motorola antenna for a radio. also, now my antenna doesn't hit my spoiler when i open the trunk.

My Blue Stubbie

Got this from a European parts distributor....$39....Ouchhh! But my boss thinks that it looks good (He got an silver one for his black R32...bad *** car!!!)....So this means I got to paint my calipers blue....

most antennas are female.. the one i got from perrins came with a male-male adapter that you screw into your base first.. then you can screw the antenna on
