Bigger rims and tires and that thing would complete the look and make it awesome, kudos to accolade for making a good conversion kit for the people that want to look like Evos, or the people who just want a different look to their Lancers...the other one's all suck and try too hard and end up not fitting right so they look less like an Evo and more like a cheap wannabe, but this actually looks really good...even the Evo wing on the back actually looks like it belongs, for once...oh yeah, and scratch the eyelids

The kit posted for the 03 isn't a real conversion. It's about the same as Accalade's kit. I want one with a 04 type grill.

Couple reasons - first off, most people who bought the RA did so because they couldn't afford the extra $10k it'd take to get the Evo. Many of us still love the Evo styling, and a body kit is a good way to get it without having to save for years and years until you can afford the Evo.

The rest of the people are in places where they simply cannot buy an Evo, such as Canada. So buying a RA and dumping a bunch of money into performance and looks is the closest they can get to the real thing.

I would think that the insurance costs would be the reason...not the extra cost of the car

Great job on making a stock car look like another stock car. LOL. Looks stupid without the wide body fenders.

this is where I'm at. The 20K I forked out is at the limit I want to finance, and wish I could have even got the cheap evo. I love the look of the Evo's.

I like this kit... It looks clean and deliberate.

It is my intent to change the front bumper/hood and then go for the vortex piece and rear wing. Call me a poser if you want. I'm nearly 40 years old and really have nothing to prove to you the "traditionalists", I want to drive a car that I like and what should you care if I hang Evo bits off of mine.
Please post an address for the RA traditionalist so that they can make my payments for me. If you guys want to pay for my RA, I'll drive it just like it is...

i'm so sick of hearing the evo 8 kit cant be made or the 2002-2003 lancer. I think it's crap. They can produce a kit for anything. it doesnt have to be IDENTICAL- we all know the fronts a little diff. but perhaps if they came out w/ an evo 8 style grill, and a front bumper it would work - after all. the 2002-2003's came out first. there are more owners of those year models than these new guys for the 2004's. Besides. the evo 7 kit is way ugly to me, no matter who makes it. You want to make some money, make the evo 8 conversion. STEP YOUR GAME UP, and impress me. cause i dont seee much of accolade's "great" work, expect in this 2004 kit.

it looks good with this angle it doesn't look too low & small in the front but you can still see that the side skirt is not line up with the front, the side is a lot lower so I am sure the side view will look funny, anyway overall is good but I won't get it untill the whole kit line up correctly! But it's alot better than the pic that originally on their website.
