if there is one cheaper, they won't be able to charge $160 for theirs.. it's a very simple economic lesson

after doing my own custom mounting plate, trust me that the $160 is well worth it

that's 10 bucks. The only down side is that with this one you can only fit 52mm gauges in it. the onther one can fit 52 or 60 mm. i think this option here looks a bit less in your face.

yeah i meen i saw one on ebay for $60 just like the first gauge pod that i want, but i was'nt wuick enough to buy it, and now i e-mail the guy and he i slike we have no more. But yeah ES77 find that guy who has the custom cubby whole gauge pod, i am interested in seeing that. But i meen some people tell me $160 is to much, and others are like a gauge pod molded like that is worth that money, so i am confused.

if you have ever molded anything, you'll understand how worth it, it really is. you have to prepare the piece to mold, make a frame for how you want it to look, take the time to lay fiberglass down (and let it dry), sand, lay down more layers, sand, sand some more, paint, then dry fit. it's time consuming and not really cheap. i think $160 is good...and it looks friggin' awesome!

my guess is that the cheaper ones are done with bondo material or something. that takes less time, but doesn't look as good if you don't do it right, and in my opinion not as durable.

es77...anxious to see what you come up with!
