Those look really nice! What kind of paint did you use? I want to paint mine yellow but I have no idea what brands of paint are the good ones for this kind of application.

Looks good. Did you mask off the non painted area's or did you just take the whole caliper off and paint it that way?

I did mine quickly when I rotated the tires but they came out good. I just wrapped newspaper around the calipers using tape so the spray wouldn't get on the rotors and hit it with 3 coats of red krylon. looks great now.

find the paint at autozone, i got 1 bottle and was able to do at least 3 coats of it... but then i dropped a hammer against the passenger side and have a chip in the paint. But it is definitely a cheap and affordable mod that looks really nice

I used the same stuff.. the dupli color paint kit.. I did three coats on a clear warm sunny day last year.. about 2 months before i put the car into storage for the winter..
I pulled the car out of storage last month and washed the car. And to my surprise, red paint flakes were floating down the driveway..
And yes, i sanded, cleaned, and even hit the calipers with a quick torch blast to remove any excess oils before painting.. This paint looks great, but doesnt last all too long.
but the color is so nice and rich, i'll probably redo the two calipers that chipped with the same stuff.. Like BbradJ said, its really easy with the brush on stuff

yeah i used the duplicolor...hope it doesnt chip like u said mitsuskot, but i have heard a lot of god things about it. It was really easy i just took the pads off and used painter tape(the blue kind) and taped off the rotors and anything plastic. It is the paint on kind and was really easy to do. Even if it does chip there is still enough paint in the can to do about 30 more calipers. It looks good. I just dont like the size of our rear brake pad...it looks so dinky. But thanks guys. Here are some pics I took today with my baby all clean and waxed(sorry I didnt realize u couldnt see the calipers very well)

And we also did my friends rx-8, he wanted the mazdaspeed logo on his calipers and it turned out great...we just dont have the right size calipers for a logo. He also added new drilled/slotted rotors which looks sweet.

I just painted mine as well this weekend. I used Folia Tec Caliper Lacquer paint. Came with cleaner, lacquer + hardener. It was very easy to apply, looks like bbradj's ones. Definatly a sweet very easy to do mod.

My car is black, so I think red would look nice, but black would look clean without standing out, I don't know

One of these weekends, I'll be doing mine, but just black. I don't want to draw attention to them, just keep them from rusting. I did the same with my Progress sway bar brackets.

black looks good, my friend did his a while back and it looked good! Just gives your calipers a cleaner look. I wanted them to show so red was teh color I chose and I really like them blue but I am going with a red theme in the future so thats why I did them that color

I personally think the blue doesnt stand out that much on a black car and accents it well without too much show, just a clean sporty look.
