That's pretty much what I had typed, before I edited it.

Thumbs up

Wow, I actually kinda like the contrast between the two colors, although once you do everything else in black it would look even sweeter. At first I didn't like your interior with all that red, who would've know that adding more red would make me like it more I really have to give this one a though.

Good Job!

Looks awesome... I am doing mine black this weekend... how hard is it to get the headliner out?.. I don't have S & S so I don't have to worry about the sun roof...

very nice.....was color was your entire interior to begin with...black? or did you paint your whole dash black and red? Did you use regular spray paint or did you use the vinyl dye on the dash as well.

All in all congrats on making a bold move and having something really nice to show for it.

^ he has a ralliart so the plastic interior pieces were black to begin with. looks like all he painted black were the abc pillars.

question for red dragon: does your car smell like paint with your roof liner painted?

to take the headliner out you have to take off all the the pillars and the dome light and the sunvisors and it comes out. the healiner dosent really fit thourght the doors aoo you kinda have to put all the chars down and bend it out of the rear doors a bit. not hard at all. yeah i had a all black interior like every ralliart i just started painting things red (thinkin of doin somethings back to black too much red) and i did the a,b and c pillars black.... everyone that owns a lancer should ALL DO THERE A, B and C PILLARS BLACK. best thing you can do to your car. it makes it look that much better.

and dose my car smell like paint... NOPE! you paint it out of the car in your grage or basemnt or whatever and you let it dry and all the flumes are gone.... but you would proably want to put some smell treess in your car tho. i have 12 up right now i love the new car smell one

damn.. 12 smell trees? you got a forest in your car

i see you have the dash piece under the steering wheel column painted red. not sure if its the same for ralliart, but there are wires that run through the back of that plastic piece, so my question is: did you disconnect all those wires in order to remove that piece?

It is alot of red but it doesn't look cheap like some that I have seen... It looks very sporty like it would come in a high dollar sports car... It's not like you fiberglassed the dash and painted it all red... that would be pretty tacky... thanks for all the info!
