folding fabric or panoramic sunroof?
folding fabric or panoramic sunroof?
Has anyone considered installing or has installed a folding fabric or glass panoramic sunroof on their Ralliart, particularly the Sportback since it has the longer roof. Are there any structural reasons for not doing so (I always wondered why Mitsu didn't offer the sunroof on the Sportback)? Am I asking for trouble? I think the folding fabric roof would look sweet but I'm concerned about leaks or wind noise. Anyone know how these things seal up tight and how long they can be expected to last before causing problems? Are they considerably louder on the highway? Anyone know any links to the pros and cons of them? And what about the panoramic glass roof? Webasto makes one that doesn't require drain tubes which sounds good but then I wonder how it's able to do without them when all others need them. Plus, it uses roller shades that only reduce the sunlight coming in instead of blocking it out completely. I wonder if it would be too hot for Florida and tax out the AC. Anyones remarks about this upgrade would be appreciated!
I sure as heck havent thought about it, my sunroof is good enough
Most of the time, you are asking for trouble if you put in a sunroof in a car not designed for one, unless its OEM. Ive heard of people doing the same thing to other cars, and the results werent very good.
