OK, all you guyz inspired me to paint my valve cover. I still want to sand down the MIVEC to the metal and give it that brushed look again...

Damn!!! Now that's what I call a glossy paint! What did you use? And did you remove the cover or did you mask it?

Dupli-color "FORD RED". There's also chevy red, but it looked a little orange. Then there's Chrysler red, but I couldn't tell the diff between it and Ford?!

I just removed the entire valve cover and masked all the holes. pretty easy actually. The most difficult part was installing the cover without scratching it. Of course I did, and just hit it with a couple of shots from the can to fix it.

Damn, that looks sweet!!! I wish i had time to do this too! I've got an audio swap to do first... and I don't even have time for it.

BTW, got any close-up pics? I always like to see the small details and stuff...

No new gasket needed, it's built into the cover!

Nice Rydog!!! Very clean looking...

Which cap are you getting? eBay knockoff, or real RalliArt? Also, is that oil cap an eBay special?

Not trying to diss, ****, my radiator cap is from eBay, and works just fine. I've been debating about the oil cap, just don't want it to leak though if I get an eBay one!
