Thanks for all the thoughts guys.

I'm not sure what they painted them with. I didn't bother to ask just wanted my car back.

Yes, I'm going to paint my calipers red to go with the car. I'm trying to talk my buddy into splitting the cost of the kit.

Wow that's a really good deal. Maybe I'll find someone to do it that cheap around here... but then my worry would be quality.

He said they could do whatever I wanted really. Well like all black weather just be poweredcoated, gloss, or flat.

WOW looks very nice!! I was thinking of doing that to my OZ wheels, then gently lift off the OZ decal on each wheel to reveal the original silver.....Few questions.... Flat black for a yellow OZ would look good..... right? Did they take the tires off to paint the wheels? And if so was that included in that price?

Looks good. It's a crying shame the ES has junk wheels, or I'd paint them because I'm poor.

He said I could do it and it would be cheaper but one thing is that I wouldn't be able to take the tire off. I just let them do it because he said that the factor seal on the rim would be hard for me to get off and if i didn't do it right it could chip.

Another thing he said was that armoral(spelling?) that is already on the rim needs to be completely removed. He said that it would cause the paint to chip.

Ahh ok.....well the stock OZ wheels have a more defined lip, it's not really flush with the tire as it appears the RA wheels seem to be from looking at the pic. So that I would have more surface area on the outer edge of the wheel to paint thus hopefully keep the paint from chiping. I was thinking of taking some fine grit sandpaper to my wheels anyway before paint, so that would take care of any tire shine on the wheels. I just purchased new tires and I really couldn't have them take the old ones off, then I'd paint the wheels, then have them install the new tires. It's my daily driver, I couldn't be without my car for that long. So I'm gonna tackle it myself....I'll post pics when finished....after vacation!

Yeah I would sand them first. I know they were sanding mine for 2 days. Took forever but I'm glad they did a good job.
