Wasting Old Rims?

Call me cheap, but my stock wheels on my 2005 RA have less than 300 miles on them. I want to upgrade my rims, but what do I do with my old ones? Sellem? Who would be an obvious buyer? OZ Rally owner? Base ES owner? Just don't know.

An option I thought of was to save my stock tires by buying 16 inch rims. I just don't like the stock rims. I'm thinking of getting ASA EM9 http://www.tirerack.com/upgrade_garage/BigPic.jsp

This would cost about $600 for the wheels and includes about $65 for mount and balance.

If I could sell my stock wheels and tires for about $300-400, I'd do it in a heartbeat and get a full 17" package.

What should I do??

I'm not sure the OZ/ES guys can mount our rims to their cars... I think I remember a thread suggesting their not the same bolt pattern. Maybe someone can confirm this though... I'm not 100% sure.

You'll get 200-250, but I doubt any higher. There's just not enough demand for them.

Do what I did, roast the tires on them then put them on ebay for 500 bucks (with tires of course) plus 75 shipping or so (I shipped DHL). Mine sold using buy it now in under a day. Make sure to mention that they will fit all 93-99 Eclipses (with 5 lug pattern) and the eclipse guys will hop on them like flies on poo. Just make sure to mention the word "eclipse" in the title.

I agree; summer tire on the new wheels and all season for the winter (not a very harsh winter here anyway)

This is GREAT advice. I'm gonna go for a full 17" set - now that I know that eclipse owners are swarming around for these pieces of poo.

Yeah, i surf my old eclipse forum occasionally and thats what LOTS of eclipse owners are doing. Actually I was wrong in my previous statement, our wheels will fit all 92-05 eclipses (with 5 lug pattern). At least im 90 percent sure im right. Yeah you should get a buyer in no time if you put them on ebay and clean them up really nice. If you are gonna ship, ship them DHL. The absolute cheapest way to go.

I figured "poo" would be better than saying ****
