Wiring Diagram
I have installed about 6 or 7 in dash monitors with the seperate brain boxes..
It all depends on if you are keeping the factory amp or not. If you are, then the best location for the brain box would be under the passenger front seat as the factory amp is under the drivers front seat. If keeping the factory set-up, you will need the mitsamp adapter from soungate. If not keeping the factory set-up, you can put the brain box under the driers seat by removing the factory amp.

You really dont need a wiring diagram if you are keeping the factory amp. But if you are removing the factory amp, your power will be at the factory plug behind the radio and the speaker connections will be at the factory amp under the seat. They are in pairs and are twisted together. You will have to put capacitors on the front tweeter positive wires if bypassing the factory amp.
let me know if you have any other question.
plus this topic has been discussed a lot. try searching for "audio."

i am keeping the factory amp and set up...i am probably going to put the hideaway unit under the passenger seat...i was just wondering if someone else has done this yet and if anyone had advice on hooking it all up.
I Just got my indash tv with the hideaway unit hooked up, it wasnt too hard but for some reason when I play dvd's I can only get sound and no video. I know your supposed to wire it differently so you can watch while you drive, so to say, and im sure i did that right. but if i didnt, wouldnt i not get sound and video..Cause right now i only get sound, im not sure if its something in the menu that i have to turn on, or if i missed hooking up a wire or something..
