Has anyone installed a universal hood scoop on their RA yet? Not a vent, but a fully functional scoop. If you did can you post pics?

 

I wanted to - a Photoshop looked like so...

 

I think modernracer had a hood thingamajig of some sort, not sure if it was functional, but hes pretty good with customizing stuff.

 

I've been thinking that a cowl-induction style scoop would be great for our car, since our engine bay likes to get so hot. Don't know how it'd look, though

 

i like the hood scoop... but id get it in cf... i think this would work for me..since i have an SRI... but im just scared of getting my hood cut...lol

erebuni has a **** load of universal ones. I found one on ebay (dirt cheap too mind you) that has that Rav4 style look. I like the cowl on the Rav4's and celica so I'm hoping someone here has something like that. I would hate to cut my hood open then hate the cowl afterwards.

 

ummm... not feeling it... kinda look out of place on a RA

 

call me crazy, but i think the hood scoop looks great and IMO it flows nicely with the car. im actually thinking of doing it down the road.

 

na, i didn't install one of thoes, my vent is like the Evo and is functionnal, but i do now have a roof vent that looks like that. at this link

aight man, if you do and when you do please post up pictures of it because I would be interested in seeing it on an actual car rather then photoshopped.
