Hey guys, I got a set of D661S components and was wondering if they need adapters for mounting in the doors. I already found out the hard way they dont fit in the back so I'm gonna put them in the doors if they don't need adapters. If they do I might send them back, order the adapters and get the HEX speakers instead while I wait.

I searched but couldn't come up with anything for these specific speaker.

 

you should have about 3 1/2 inches of mounting depth..

 

the size is a standard 6 1/2, I am not familiar with those speakers but if they are a 6 1/2 and not an oversized speaker they should fit...I am not aware of a mounting adapter for the lancers..I have neevr seen one at least..

 

Our car has 6.75" openings for speakers. If you have 6.5" speakers, you'll need an adapter to make them fit. This goes for front and back, and no, we don't have the same speaker size as the Evos.
