ask to trade with a es on the lot.

 

Look for a trade with an ES.

Keep and eye out in the for sale threads. Thats how I got mine.

 

about $150 for each one.
Only know cuz mine was vandalized last year.

 

The only thing about trading them with people who live far from you is having to go without your car until you get the new ones in. Or you could just dick them over and disappear after you get them in. But I recommend you dont do that.

Seriously, go to the dealer and ask to swap with a base Lancer. They always get a few clients a year who can't afford an OZ or RA and want the altezas...

Are your tails worn out though?

dealer. thats how i got mine. went to the dealership and said i hate my tails i wanna trade with an es and BAM! new tails!! try it , makes the car SOOOO much "cleaner"

 

The dealer will make money if he gives you the ES lights, so it shouldnt be a big deal.

 

How you figure? I got a quote from the dealer and ES and RalliArt tails were the same price?! Something like $340 for both.

Yeah, but many customers ask for a swap when they buy the ES model... and the dealer charges extra for it (or makes it look like he's giving away a freebie).
