There are a few different sellers on ebay now and they all look to be selling the same headlights.

I must be brain damaged because I can't see any place on the rear of the fixtures to install a HID 9007 bulb behind the projector lense.

In this auction offered from "zomkspeed", http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-05...26146471QQrdZ1 , it says "Headlights are not compatible with H.I.D. lighting systems".

What good are projectors, if they're not projecting anything? Others in this thread have offered concerns about light output from the halo. Count me in on that.

This, http://www.hidworld.com/cart.php?tar...image&id=16145 , is an HID bulb, where does it go behind the projector?

there seems to be a lot of MISINFO about HIDs. for one thing, these projectors are NOT for HIDs. they are design for halgen bulbs. this means that with a HID kit into these projectors, u ligt output will not be focus and will spread almost every where blinding oncomng traffic.

what u can do with these headlights is take them apart and replace these projectors with projectors that are design for hids like tsx, bmw, audi, etc. when i did my hid retro with a tsx projectors, there weren't any headlights avaiable like now. so, i have to use my oem. lucky, i got it to work perfectly. so, if u want hids, do it right.

tho mostof what you speak is the truth, there are halogen projectors out there that adapt to HID very well, ie: subaru\'s projectors, i know that a lot fo aftermarket headlights dont use good quality projectos, and thats wher i would take your advise and put a tsx projector, or something like it.

but you really wont know until we see actual light outputs

not to hijack the thread but i was just curious, on the ralliart, do you guys use a 9007? so these projectors are plug and play... do you need to rewire? i know that you need to power the halo but i'm just wondering on the actual halogen lamps.. someone pls clarify this for me.. thanks

we do use 9007. what has had me curious is if the 9007 can be changed if it burns out? i figure that the round cover on the back of the light comes off. i just want to know if the 9007 is both our high and low beams currently, what happens to high beam funtion of the 9007 when you activate the H1 high beams?
