i want to paint my headlights like alot of people on here are doing. can someone send me in the right direction on how to do this right? so i dont mess up my lights and hate myself for it lol. thanks

also does anyone know were i can get aftermarket gauges?

 

1. remove front bumber
2. remove headlights
3. preheat oven to 275
4. turn off oven
5. insert headlight
6. let "bake" for 7 mins
7. remove headlight
8. pull apart.
9. paint
10. do everything in reverse to put back together.

 

thanks! so i have to take off the whole bumper just to get out the light? and i dont need to add any glue the old stuff will still work perfect?

 

you do have to remove the whole bumper.

you may want to add some silicon when you put it back together, but normally when you reheat the adhesive it should seal tight. i had moisture probs with mine bc i had taken them apart about 10 times.

 

im guessing you have the chrome lights and want the Black ones from the RA? if so you can buy mine from my RA.
