I'm still thinking about 50% all around. I don't want DARK, I just want to knock down the glare a bit.

If i were you I'd go with 35% all around. Most factory tinted windows come in 35%. Not too dark, but knocks down that glare

50% is the darkest legal tint on front door windows in WI, and I want it to be the same all around. Dark rear windows with lighter or clear front windows doesn't look right to me.

my recomendation is that if your going to do tinting, make it count lol go lower then 35 b/c 35 and higher looks just like stock windows to me, got 20s all around on a thunder grey ralliart, and it looks hot, cant see inside at night, so if your parked with your gf or friend with bennies then you are invisible in that car, no one can see you making faces at them on the highway and it keeps the sun out of your eyes when your sleeping in the day, and keeps it a little cooler, although backing up and parking at night gets a little nerve racking you get used to it, i have been pulled over once for tints, but they let me go, and a cop pulled me over for speeding and wanted to tack on a tint ticket too, but i got out of both of them, so getting pulled over 14 times in my year and 4 months of driving, ive gotten 3 tickets that i beat in court, and talked down to two parking tickets, no record, and no points.....god bless the legal system, and expensive lawyers, would have been 11 points and a suspended license but was dropped to two parking tickets

50%?? Ew. That is the law over in Ohio too. You will barely tell that the windows are tinted with 50%......they will knock the glare down some, but not much. I have 20% and love it (law here in Indiana is, um, pretty relaxed).

FYI, The law in Indiana is 30% all around. They probably won't care about your 20%, but an @sshole cop could have you scraping it off.

^I don't think there is a state that it's legal to go darker than 30%. I think what he was saying is that they don't push that law in Indiana. Just like Colorado. I've never ran lighter than 20% and have never been hassled. Right now I'm running 20% on the front and 5% everywhere else. The cops haven't ever looked twice, well, at least not that I could see.

On my last car I just did the back 5 in 5%, it was nice in the day, and never had to worry about highbeams behind me on the highway, but was a little nervous backing up at night, and the sharp difference on the sides sucked. So this time I went with 50% on the front, and 17% on the back. The 50 is nice because it's not noticable at all, and cuts down on the glare(makes me wish I could get it put on the windshield too, just for the glare reduction), but it is a little lighter then I would like, I think next time I'll try 35-40 on the front, if I can find it...Don't want to go too dark because here anything on the front is illegal. The 17% on back is a good amount, but again next time I think I'll cut the difference and go for 10, if I can't get it, then I'll stick with the 17%.
