Taillight help- I can't decide

I just picked up a silver Ralliart and I don't really care for the stock taillights. They wouldn't be so bad if they were tinted, or black housing, or I even like the ES red-lensed tails, but I just can't decide.

1. Should I just get a set of black housing lights so they match the headlights?
2. Should I just get some overlays for the stock lights?
3. Should I just get a set of ES tails?

I need some input from some fellow Lancer drivers to persuade me one way or the other

Get the black housings. If you don't like them, I'll trade you for my stockers, and then you can get the overlays.

I want to black out the chrome in mine, but don't have the cash laying around right now.

So +3 for the black housings...

I saw the post with the black housings on a black RA and they looked pretty clean. I know it's ultimately my car and my decision but I do like the black housing lights.

I guess I just don't like the chrome on the back of the car...

Anyone know how the fit is on these black taillights?

That's good...

RRM is only about 30 minutes from me so maybe I need to go up there and take a look at them

Well, I decided on the Depo black housing lights. They're sitting in a box in my house and I will install them this weekend.

I'll post up pics when I have some time...

Thanks again to all who helped push me in the right direction!

congrats on the purchase, it takes 5 minutes to put em on. Make sure you screw em on tight, someone messaged me saying they popped out, but it never occurred to me.

Good luck!

I done a switch with a Silver ES.. my RA (TG) tails against his... the clear one look much better on silver, so black one from Depo will be a perfect match !

EDIT : you got them, let us see !

They are OEM replacements and DOT approved so you should be good with the ones we sell.
