As the title states, i'm looking into getting some overlays.. and i photoshopped a couple i liked, now i'm dead on which to get... Hence the post...

AND YES i know its ultimately up to me.. i just can't freakin' decide.. haha

The last ones look the best. I've been asking bluebatmobile about making overlays like that, but he never responded...

 

why dont you just get taillights?

 

Cause they don't make smoked tails for our cars yet... I don't want to pay that much for tails, and overlays are an easy and cheap substitute. I'm just sick of the altezza look because all the people around boston rock them and i want something unique.

overlays look like **** IMO, i say go black depo (i have them & they're amazing)

 

the last one plus amber turn signal. thats what i want.

 

ES tails or go with the black RRM or Ebays (same thing) and put the amber corners,

i want to do that some months ago, but i didnt do it because the black tails (every one you can buy) have the last corner of the signal in black, so if you put a amber overlay it will look, bad if you see it from the side

Well its final that i'm not getting another set of tails. So my options are overlays. I've seen them done before on various cars and have a friend who does installations of them all the time so they look pretty damned good.

 

well, because you dont have the $$ to buy some tails, you may tint them RED, like the ES tails, or RED like you said (Evo 7 style) thats the best option, (but this is my opinion only)

 

Get me a test car in San Diego or nearby and your on .
