How the F*ck do u BodyDrop a lancer that has it's main chasis integrated into the shell!??? It's not a truck!
For those not in the know technically .... A bodydrop is where the floors are cut and raised, so the body sits OVER the chasis, making the body look lower, minimising interior height, but at the same time makes the body lower to the ground so u can 'lay frame / body' with airbags.

ok sp33dy i agree a traditional bodydrop is done the way you have stated above and the artilce is a great write up about the procedure although on a unibody its a modified bodydrop therfore you raise the struttowers. therefor loweing the placment of the body of the car. this will alow the body to sit lower and to be "bodydropped" the term is loosly used as to a suspension mod although in reality the suspension is staying stock to an extent while u are raising where the stock struts mount to frame by altering in the raising and lowering the body allowing it to rest lower. i hope this clears up any confusion
