Thanks for the comments guys! Actually I just recently dug these up but they're from Octobor of 2006 at UFO auto-x... I wish UFO had started this season already but we're still waiting on it. SCCA SFO has started already but I haven't made it to any of those yet.

cj98 you should try it out! tons of fun, great learning experience.

Actually the class system under the organization I was with is different. I ran under what they call H stock, which is I believe a division of STS. I did better than I thought I would and I just barely hit my goal for the day that I set after my first run. I think I was 5 seconds or so away from my buddy with a c5 vette with z06 suspension and exhaust, but it was a pretty short and tight course. I wasn't that far from a wrx that i rode in and he had a few good mods and was pushin lots of torque.

Sure thing man.

 

STS in the SCCA is mildly modded N/A cars under 3.1L......I run against a lot of Focus, Civics, VW GTI's, etc etc. H stock is completely different....you can do more to your car in STS.
2006 was my first full year, and I came in 2nd in my class out of 36 competitors for the year (Thanks to my sponsor - RRM! ). First place in our class was a 10 year experienced driver in a 1989 Civic (900 lbs. lighter!!!!).
I plan on winning in 2007.

One thing....you say you barely hit your goal for the day. I bet you could have gone much faster. Free advice: delete your expectations, and focus on performance. Speed will come, and your times will surprise you.
