So on January 25th I ordered the Hyper front and rear bar in TFF from Accolade. It arrived today (April 18th) and looks great! The quality is as good or better than I was hoping for. Not sure about fit yet, I'm taking it to the shop Tuesday (which is the reason for not removing bubble wrap from the corners).

'04 Ralliart, silver w/ black Depo tails....any opinions on painting the rear diffuser black or gray?

I tried to get some pictures of the clips for the mesh that were mentioned in another thread..










it did come with some mesh for the top of the front, it's just not pictured

 

nice. my bumper didnt come with mesh. thats jacked up. lol. Paint diffuser black for sure. kit looks good.

 

no sideskirts?

 

I don't like the Hyper side skirts...I was going to see how the rest of the kit looked with the stock sides and if it doesn't line up well I'm going to replace them with something else (just not the hyper ones, they don't have that clean look I want, I think they look like they were just stuck on the sides of the car)

 

I like the front bar.

I never really like rear bars. Nothing doesn't it for me, but then again, I'm probably a picky b*****d

It's silver, I was planning on painting the diffuser black but asked for input from everyone! I've got black Depo tails and will be tinting 35% all the way around (probably a darker rear windshield...I hate the Virginia laws) after the kit gets installed, so hopefully it'll be beautiful

If your car is silver then paint the diffuser black but not a high gloss black as that will be too much have it an almost matt black... sorry just my 2cents worth because that is what I am going with on mine

As for the hyper side skirts they really are not as bad as you may think they are on the car when I got mine I thought geez these things are very boxy looking and hang a long way down but when temporarily fitted to the car I changed my mind they do finish of the look much better

 

satin black on the diffuser...I want to see this thing on the car it looks good already!!!

 

Excuse my ignorance but what is the square hole on the rear bumper? Is it for a hitch??

I agree with satin (semi-gloss) black for the diffuser.

 

I'd say dark graphite gray/satin clear for the diffuser.
