Before was better. Way better.

Now it reminds me of an early 90's Civic DX that had its sticker badging ripped off and spray painted the tails (rather poorly).

 

Sorry, but your first set looked MUCH better. Also, you need to put the back on, too plain now. And I agree with the post above me, kinda looks Honda-ish now.

 

Now this is going to sound very biased but after having a really long close look at the rear tails I think they do suit the car... they match up nicely with the rims being black with the chrome lip and add a little extra to the rear without it being too much, the original tails with the large clear lens strip did not look quite right but now with the full black insert it ties in beautifully with the rear spoiler and the license plate surround...

I like it..

 

not to sound mean or anything and if you like it thats all that counts b/c it is your car, BUT.......... to me the tail lights look like they're on crack or something... Should have left them the way they were IMO

i got them b/c first no one else in the US has them so HA, second i think they match the car, and third did i mention FTW!!

i swapped these lights with chowetime for my depos so whoever asked i dont have them anymore. and to the person who said the cars to slow to be a spaceship i'm going to venture to say my RA is much faster then yours which must hurt since i drive an auto

I'd prefer depos but still its different and no-one in the US has them, so those lights R329, compliment well with your car.

R329: i did like the old tails better but the new ones are okay too, if you like them thats all that really matters and the fact that you have the only pair in the US makes them better. its all about being unique and you wont have to worry about ppl having the same lights seeing how half the guys here hate them but seriously nice job with the RA

also i know my future plans for the RA and this will look better. the after pics were with a crappy camera and didnt help but it makes the car look cooler especially from the side. and thanks everyone for being honest. my next project is to strip off the RA window decal then remove the front bumper and bondo over where it was so you dont see the imprint.

 

Getting rid of all the mitsu emblems?? i shaved down the tri-diamond on my valve cover.. I want to paint the ones on my back and front red tho.

 

i had my red, then black now i want to lose them. and yes i used FTW as F*** the world. it worked for me alright!!

im leaving the emblem on the valve cover, looks good with the paintjob i had done for it. now i just need money to get the head done, finish the real body work, and then start looking towards turbo.
