Undercar Neon Kits

Has anyone had good luck with any neons on RA's, I know it might sound alittle gay but I like the glow you can get if you do it right... whats your all ideas on that?

Just so long as you cant see them, put them as far up into the underbody as you can. The worst thing you can do with ground fx is make them visable. You shouldn't be able to see them, even at a distance from the car. I dont have any on mine, but I might get some wheel well led's and some under dash in the future, full blown underbodys are just a little too much for me.
As for what anybody else has to say, neons done right arnt always rice, its his car, get over it.

Oh yeah, what do you plan for controlling them? what color(s)?

I had neon's awhile back. Look at my profile for pictures. I think they looked awesome, but not many here seemed to think so. But it was hard to mount them out of view. I ended up putting a strip of electrical tape across them to hide the bulb.

I think if you do it right you'll be fine. Go with street glow, if you can afford it get an LED kit. Also like the other say mount it as high up as possible, some idiot from my town (drives like an idiot too) drives an STI that has purple tubes that legit visible from standing 5 feet from the car as 4 feet from the ground...

I have interior neon only, put two tubes under the passenger and driverside seats, mainly cause i hate how the lancer doesn't have interior lighting... (no a dome light doesn't count in my opinion...

I have the streetglow optx line underbody in green and it looks phenomenal, cant see any tubes or wires. Currently wiring up some under seat glow as well. Most people here dont like it, but do what you wanna do.

Like said before, go with LED underbodies. Because if you get just one crack in your neon tube, the gas will leak and the whole tube would need to be replaced.

a few of my friends did the led underbodies and they went over to the neon b/c with leds, you can see the dot patern on the floor, and it looks kinda cheap, and if one led is off, you can see a distortion in the light transference to the ground, Croix is right about the neon tubes cracking, but i think it looks better then the leds imo

Depends on waht brand you get I think, You dont see the dot pattern on the ground at all on mine. I bought streetglow.

I bought them for my Corolla but some lady decided to run into the front of my car and twist the frame so I put them on my RA. I wouldnt put them on my Lancer if I could go back. Got kinda old after a couple weeks. I would only use them if I had a show car.
