New black powder coated rims

Ok well instead of buying after market rims to replace my rims since 2 of them were bent, i bought another set of stock rims and had them powder coated gloss black. Definitely excited on how good they look. Tell me what you think, o and sorry for the dirty car. Enjoy....

Looks awesome!!! I am thinking of doing that on my red RA. Maybe paint them white.

I bought the 4 rims for $200. And the powder coating only cost me $250. It was going to be $300, but since it took them 2 weeks to even start them because they lost my work order they gave me $50 off. So overall it cost me $450.

Yea my friend painted his stock rims for his integra and they started chipping after a month or so. Thats what gave me the motivation to powder coat them.

Also, as far as price goes as long as you dont want any custom or special order colors then it shouldn't cost you more than $80/rim. Out of all the places i called most were between $70 and $80 each rim.
Thanks for the replies guys.

Our stockies look good black. Nice job!

Much better taste then going with 18's or chrome like some others have been doing recently for reasons I just don't understand. IMO rims make or break the car.

^ Agree Retro!

Come to think of it, many of the RAs now are starting to look much better! More clean.

They look pretty good, but I would have still gone with aftermarket wheels.

Looks good. but sometimes I find that black wheels look like winter steelies from a distance.

yeah,
I also painted my rims, and they are chipping now. It could be that It was my first time. Cause I know of professionals painting rims and never get any chipping. I wish we could get a lip around our stock rims. If that could be done, it would be the perfect.

got my rims painted hyper black, paint job was good but right where the tire seats the stupid tire place chipped the hell out of it putting my new tires on, ehh some occasional touch up every two weeks keeps them looking great :-)
