That looks sick. You should post up the steps of how you did it. I want to do this to my RA. Looks great with the red.

Looks good, but I would never glue it to my bumper.. I use those holes for access to all the stuff i have down there.

Got a link to your ebay auction? I'd like to take a closer look at that mesh.

How flimsy is the mesh in your opinion?

I know its the bumper, AND???, it doesnt matter its the bumper, take out the grille grab a spray can of flat black and some painters tape and throw some paint on it.

honestly, it looks only OK, but i think the oem mesh one looks better... not to dis on your ride or anything, but one of my friends told me once that if you have a nice car, why would you want to put like chicken wire on it to make it look like mesh, and i was like, dam that's a good point. (I was considering about making it myself) but ended up buying the oem mesh off of someone for more than 50% off the original price

i made mine myself but still used the outside of the stock grill .i first hacksawed the fins out ,then took the stubs down with my rotary tool.then bought some speacial bondo that sticks to plastic ($30can) to fill in the holes where the fins were .sanded down the bondo smooth (started with 80 grit and moved to 500) i then cut out some mesh( had some leftover)(i used gutter guard from home depot $5 for 4 sheets) fit it around the plastic and glued it in (glue $6) then painted it($10).so for around $60can i could have bought the same one from ebay or accolade but it would have cost more if you allow for shipping .it was pretty easy took about 2 hours work not including drying time.
