thanks for the comments guys I did take a ride with it , it was louder but the itake pipe jerked with the gear change...(kinda scared me).....it was fun though..lol..

I don't imagine any cop would give that a second glance at all.

Put a pod like that(though it didn't fit properly so went back to stock) on my in-laws Daihatsu Applause (named Applause as thats what the salesman got each time one left the lot) and it roared, sounded awesome... still was slow as goldfish in sand though.

sort of reminds me of the 'safari snorkel' intakes a lot of Land Cruisers have here that come out the side and up the A pillar - at roof height.
We were asked on a four wheel driving course how deep in the the water you could go with one - the general consensus was 'water just below the top of the snorkel' and the instructor (expecting that answer) was like, so you could drive (and breathe) with the rest of the car underwater huh? No one likes a smarty pants, it was a theoretical question after all lol
