i have seen some cars including evos with a metal or carbon fiber border around the cutout in the bumper i was wondering what it was called, where i could get one or is it something you make(if so how)? any ideas?

i am thinking it might be a nice idea with a bigger tiped exhaust to avoid burning the bumber.. appreciate the help.

It's an exhaust bumper shield. It keeps the muffler from burning or browning the bumper. I haven't been able to find one for the RAs yet that are molded. There is a sheet metal one but it doesn't look as nice.

 

I have a big black area around my exhaust on my stock bumper. Too bad I didn;t get one of these:

with the price of the ones going on the net, its really not worth amking one yourself, shop around and you'll get a good deal!
