I think that's because of the exposier rate on the camera he used for that picture. Be sure to use a better camera when you update your pics.

So you didn't use a bezel, just a shroud?

nope......you can just cut the inner diameter to 3 inches, then start trimming the part to fit nice and tight onto the projector, then you will be ok.
well.....i actually got lazy, but if you guys want, just do some LED lights on the side for corner lights, it would look nice, i am too lazy to open up my headlights again now......so yeah.

thanks for the comments
gjgfrombigd, nah, sorry, i just basically cut out the whole back to fit the projector like that in the photo. as you can see in the picture the solenoid is kinda big on the TL's, so i didn't have much room, another method is to cut on the bottom, but i didn't want to bother.

what would happen if there isnt a shroud around the projector?, cuz im starting to loose the focus on my right side projector, or could it just be a bad headlight housing lens?

if there isn't a shroud around the projector.....and plus depends on what projectors you are using, there might be some unwanted glares. and if you are starting to lose focus, possible problems are:
1, your headlight lens cover can be dirty (can be inside or outside)
2, your actual projectors are dirty ( i cleaned mine really well with some acetone before i mount them)
3, if you also notice a bit more color, then could be that your shield inside the projector is lose. (usually people mod this for more color, but lose focus)

there might be more, but that's all i can think of as of now.
btw, what did you use to cover the back of the headlight? that might be a key to why it is not focused.
