The cut-off looks great. Good job. Did you put a shroud? It would look much cleaner with one.

Actually, the way the shroud had to be installed to cover the stock reflector, it really didn't need one. Yeah I could put one on, I just really didn't find any that I liked that would fit. You'll see in the write-up what I mean.
I will say that it was a very fun, learning experience. I hope that I can iron out all the kinks in the write up where anyone could do this with little trouble. Even then, I'm always here to answer questions about the whole process. It is much simpler than I was making it out to be!

What is the difference between digital HIDs and regular HID systems?

Good question. All I can tell is that the ballasts are designed a little differently as far as size. Old HID=big ballast Dig HID=smaller ballast but includes an outside piece inline with the bulb itself. I still have the first ballast I ever bought (big square box) and they still work fine.
I've found that the performance of a system is more dependent upon the bulb than anything else besides a battery-direct wiring harness with relay, of-course.
Common factory hid bulbs (like the phillips ultinon 85122, 85122+) used in luxury vehicles/sports cars give better light output but more importantly, they are made with higher quality glass and materials. This, in turn, gives you better startups, longevity, lumens, etc.
Unfortunately the people that know this sell them for $200/pr. I figure $50 bulbs on ebay that last a couple of years are about what you're paying for filament bulbs(Sylvannia Silver Stars) anyway. Yes I know filament bulbs last a long time. If you want the bulb to last 5-7 years like a Lexis RX350, you need to find someone selling the 85122's on hidplanet.com/forums.

I'll tell you guys, these 6k's are rockin' oh so smokin' hot! The cutoff is priceless and rivals tsx, tl, rl, rx, gs, g35, m3, 745il, the list goes on and on.

For a limited time only, shoot me a pm if you want me to make these for you. You send me the lights off any '04-'06 ES, LS, OZ, RA...and I'll make them for the first three people for 450 shipped.

That includes everything: (ballasts,bulbs,wiringharness,projectors/shrouds/hardware/paint,install/alignment)
If you're local (North Dallas), I'll install them on the car...for tips!

BTW, I'm coming up with an idea for the tailights, too.

That sounds like a very intriguing proposition... does the 450 include shipping to you as well?

Very interesting prices your throwing up there. Im in the middle of a retro, so just kinda wanna see progress pics. your price is killer! Just curious

Ballast, are you using OEM or Aftermarket. Which Brand. 35W or 55W.
Projectors, Single or Bi Xeon. Which Brand. Clear, Frosty lens
Bulbs, I assume Phillips but...
Shrouds, OEM or replica.
Paint, How much and what are you willing to do

Everything would be the exact same as all that you are seeing above as to not confuse anyone.

Service includes:
2 digital ballasts with inline noise reducers - 3 year warranty
2 FX35/45 bixenon projectors - factory clear lens
2 D2S bulbs of your choice of color - 3 year warranty
Bixenon wiring harness (brights function as normal with bixenon projector)
Shipping of all this to YOU!

Oh, yeah. AND I will perform the exact same retrofit as I have, and if you've been following along, it has all stock alignment adjustment and is all black.
No 'all chrome' available. If you send chrome ES/LS housings, they will remain chrome except for the area of the projector/shroud: see pictures.
Reason I don't paint the inside of these black is bc the factory shroud around the blinker, running light, reflector, etc. is very fragile and tends to break when disassembling.

Remember: Only the first three people to sign up, get this for $450.

Again - '04-'06 Lancer ES, LS, OZ, Ralliart.
