so I found a real evo 8 spoiler and i know that i have to drill new holes but does anyone have any personal experience with this? or information i should know? and some pics

what do you wanna know? how to drill the holes? When I installed evo wing on my CF trunk I put it together and set it on the trunk. measured it all up and put painters tape down to mark every corner. I used some type of puddy crap (could use anything). Dabbed it in the holes and set the wing down to leave marks. drilled holes. installed. Better if you have a friend help to line things up and stuff.

 

this wing i got is off a real evo 8. is urs the same? and would it fit on an 05 ralliart

 

yeh. I have a replica evo VIII wing from cerious performance. I wanted full CF w/o having to strip paint off side posts and deal with CF damage. Same bases, mounting holes and everything.

 

I have a real Evo 8 spoiler and i've had the fake one they are the same holes, so yes they both fit the 05 perfectly.

 

Evo 8 spoiler holes line up with an 05 ralliart? I don't know how that works.. cause the 04-06 Ralliarts all have the same spoiler stock... And if the 04's have to redrill then all of them have to redrill to fit the evo spoiler.

 

sorry you have to drill new holes with the fake evo spoiler and the real one. But they both do fit the car perfectly.

 

out of curiosity.. are Evo and Lancer trunks interchangeable? If so, might be a little easier to swap than to drill holes ***** nilly.

 

^ no they are not. only the 02-03 lancer trunks are, but the 04+ is a negative. our trunks are round at the bottom, evos' aren't.

 

04's you have to drill holes also....i have a replica also......i believe its the holes closest to the window that need to be drilled
