I think its that messed up setup that you bought from that website... as long as you have the ballast hooked up correctly as well as the lights attached to the stock h7 harness the right way it should be okay and not flicker...
h7 are not always on which would be your HIDs.... but since you have DRLs i would only assume that your halos would be on all the time or your parking lights

OKAY! so I believe my HID are flickering because my 06 has DRL, i never knew the lower years didnt have them...
So... i have to search on how to remove the DRL and maybe the HID kit will work without flickering... the flickering is because it doesn't have enough voltage, since DRL are below 12.5V or something...
now for sure i know its because of my car, not the set up =)

I went with black on mine, looks good on the stock wheels and my summer set (gunmetal), and it hides brake dust well
Had I gone with a color, I might have done blue (think EB from the Evo, as opposed to BBY). "Everyone" has red...maybe try something that's not too flashy, yet more unique.

I was considering black too but Im going to put on my R1 concept premium rotors as they are black as well pretty much... i was just wanting to try to avoid having the whole colors blend ifyou know what i mean....cause then they wont stick out you know?

GUnmetal stock wheels arent bad. Some likes, others dont. I think they're fine. and calipers, well honestly even though red's been overplayed, I still think they look awesome. Blacks...well I'm not that big a fan cause it doesnt really stand out that much over the rust look hahaha.
Oh, and for AznRico. I should probably point out that at least in Ontario, from what I know the 05's also have DRLs. You can disable them (I dont think it's a good idea) or you could rewire them so that your DRLs arent fed through the HID H7 bulbs. It was kinda complicated, but I managed to rewire it to the high beam bulb with some modifications (it's not blinding). You could always wire it to the fog lights too. Either way, I didnt have any flicker issues with it. Oh, and this was all on the Angel eye projectors w/ HIDs.

I have considered gold rims before, but I'm just going to stick with the theme I have going for a white/black car. Right now I'm just doing engine work and worrying about looks later. I'm almost finished with what i want for my N/A engine build so just need to upgrade my brakes with the parts I have sitting in my closet. I may consider doing a reshoot on the car for better pictures though
