Are you refering to the turbo kit? If so , last I heard it was more expensive than rrm's kit but had better quality parts/worksmanship. As for the supercharger kit, I believe that will be a little cheaper than the rrm turbo kit. Hopefully

sooo i may try and go with the rpw turbo hardware kit, seems the shipping wouldnt cost me anything and all i need to do is find a front mount intercooler and the piping, no big deal really. it would save me like 500+ dollars. ill have to do some searching around before i do all this, if you guys have any info hit me up.

for now, when it comes time ill grab me a beater to ride in while i work on my Ra
anyways, heres the "whats up" with hackish and whats to come,
i talked to brent, those who are waiting for a turbo kit to come out from hackish and the gang with have to be sad cause there isnt going to be one,
i quote
"Brent: We wont be doing a turbo set up too much to invest in getting parts mass produced to keep costs down, we could do at a time but the cost would be close to 6500usd the supercharger will be much cheaper there will be a group buy in the spring."
so yea, no go on waiting for their turbo charger, but im all down for grabbing the supercharger in the group buy in the spring, whos gonna do this as well????
also here are some cool things he told me about the upcoming super charger
"Brent: next few weeks we have to sent the test charger back as a berring let go common problem for that model but vortech has fixed that issue and we are getting the new self oiled charger VERY COOL there is no oil lines"
me: sweeet that sounds nice
"Brent: its a blessign if you think of it the rest of the kit and now with our electronics upgrade its all bolt on"
me: thats whats up, yes do keep me informed and put me on the list near the top
lol
"Brent: should take abtou 2-3 hours to bolt it all on"
" Brent: i was pro turbo all the way but i am not so sure anymore"
me: yea same here
"Brent: the noise of the charger is very cool people know your coming...lol"
me: ah hahaha
" Brent: the key thing is get an exhaust that is quiet"
"Brent: if its the power you want wait for the supercharger"
"Brent: 8psi is 8psi the big differnce is how it is delevered"
there you have it, so whos all down for the spring group buy? ill be on that list.

Lmao bro you sound like me, unsure and undecided and changing my mind all the time.
No but it depends on how much power you want and what you're using it for. I've always been a BMW guy and so many guys over there supercharge or turbo.
Yes turbo makes more power but for the ralliart, because tuning isn't as easy as other cars, I'm going to go with the supercharger and the reflash he's come up with. Tho I probably won't have the money for the group buy in spring =(.
Hopefully they'll do another group buy later in the year after I've been deployed for a longer time. Lol

I really wanted to supercharge my RA. I figured with an A/T that it would be more beneficial than a turbo and I've never planned on being able to drop that kind of money on the RRM kit. I wish I could get in on that group buy but I just don't make enough money

yay my header and dp will be finally installed by next weekend, was going to do it today but forgot that i have a custom cat-back so it was welded to the cat and not with a flange. ive found one to use and will have that welded on. does anyone know what size bolts i need to bolt the dp to the after-cat piping? i think they are 1/2'-7/8" IIRC.
