Thanks guys!

for sure, I'll keep everyone posted if I figure out how to keep it on the steering wheel, I might try this in a couple weeks actually...

I am like way ahead of everyone lol. Lets just say between me going home for the past two years and doing a little work on the car and sitting over here and thinking up ways to do things lol. I found a way, not finished yet but started to mount the cruise switch into the steering wheel. I will work on it a little more when i go back home in January. I am deployed military and have been gone for two years lol. Pics are in this thread also. May not be clear because i was in a rush when i took them but you get the point.

Feel free to exspand on my idea if you like. I need to move the switch in a little bit soooooo like i said still a work in progress, it catches my leg every now and then.

I'll hopefully update this tread near the end of month when I install my Recaro's...they've been sitting at my US mailbox and I've been itching to install them

so a guy with an '04 oz rally mounted the cruise in his wheel

He didn't post any photos of the install, but this is how he said he did it:

To fit the cruise lever, I removed the access cover for the airbag wiring harness and just slid the cruise switch in. There are two screws that secure the wheel to the mounting bracket. I removed the right side screw and used a longer bolt, and spacer to mount the cruise switch. You will have to leave the new bolt a little loose, so you can plug the air bag connector in, then tighten the newly installed bolt. Once all of the connections are made, you will have to mark and notch the wiring access cover. Once notched the cover will snap into place and you will have a factory looking cruise installation.
